Cheesy Italian Meatballs

Ingredients:

-2 lbs. ground beef
-1 cup breadcrumbs
-1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-2 eggs
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon black pepper
-1/4 cup olive oil
-1 (24oz) jar marinara sauce
-1 (8oz) package shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
2. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides.
4. Place the cooked meatballs in the slow cooker.
5. Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs.
6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
7. Just before serving, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top.
8. Cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
9. Serve the meatballs over cooked pasta or with garlic bread.
